Grey reminds me of March. It came in like a lion and is now going out like a lamb. 10 years ago it started to really make a presence and 5 years ago it’s all anybody wanted. Now I think it should be appreciated but we need to remember that it’s a neutral. And neutrals are meant to be quiet, calm and subtle. Their job is to make other things look good. You wear a black dress with red shoes. You can wear a beige blouse with blue jeans. I think the most beautiful greys are the calm, subtle greys. The ones that stay quiet and let everything else do the talking. This kitchen is my cousin’s kitchen. Him and his wife did the perfect classic combination. Dark blue bases with white uppers and quiet grey countertop. It’s perfect and so much prettier in person. I just love this kitchen. And his wife let me talk her into a few glass cabinets. Every kitchen needs a glass cabinet.
